About Stem Cells
We use umbilical cord stem cells. These cells are extracted from the blood left behind in the placenta after a baby is born. Previously this umbilical cord blood would be discarded, but today it is a valuable source of stem cells. This means that we have the building blocks of human beings – via a natural state - to repair, rejuvenate and regenerate ageing human tissue.

As we age, however, the bone marrow releases fewer stem cells, giving us less power to repair the damage of ageing. Treatment with adult stem cells reverses this process.
In healthy individuals, skin youthfulness is maintained by epidermal stem cells which self-renew and generate daughter cells that become new skin. Despite accumulation of aging blemishes and changes in aged skin, epidermal stem cells are maintained at normal levels throughout life. Therefore, skin ageing is caused by impaired stem cell mobilisation from the bone marrow or reduced number of stem cells able to respond to repair signals.This means that, if we increase the number of circulating stem cells, by mobilising from the bone marrow, and by infusion of new umbilical cord cells we should dramatically change this cell behaviour.

The Procedure
Should you choose to have stem cell treatment, you will receive the cells by means of a transfusion for about one hour a day over four days. You are free to spend your time as you wish for the balance of those days. Although you may have a sense of wellbeing after the treatment; you can expect the old adage from your therapist to ‘take it easy’ during treatment.
